From humble beginnings in Italy studying guitar and composition at Lizard Music Academy in Florence, Matteo continued his music studies at BIMM London, where he graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music Performance in 2019 and then went on to complete a master's degree in Composing for Film, TV & Games at the National Film & Television School in 2023. Matteo is an extremely talented young composer with huge aspirations to write for film and TV. In May 2019 Matteo was hired by Dooley Records, a music label based in Abbey Road Studios, to write string arrangements on three tracks for David Fernandez’s upcoming debut album. The recording session took place in Studio 2 with a nine-piece string section. Having only been writing for Out/Standard for two years alongside his studies Matteo has secured music placements in campaigns for Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and DAZN.
