By night Gen is the front person of alt-indie outfit 'Gen and the Degenerates'. They're signed to Marshall Records (the recording arm of the world famous Marshall Amplification) and last year they were lucky enough to tour with previous Glastonbury headliners Skunk Anansie. They have also been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and have amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify. By day Gen is a songwriter and vocalist living in Liverpool. Shes known for "exceptionally witty lyrics" (Distorted Sound 2022) and "rare punk presence [which] marries provocation and power" (Kerrang 2022).
